Founded in 1997 by Mohamed Merhari, known as Momo, the festival originally called “Tremplin des Jeunes Musiciens de Casablanca” began in 1998 as a competition to showcase emerging musical talent.
Over time, it evolved into a prestigious event, featuring renowned Moroccan artists such as Bigg, H-kayne, Fnaïre, and Zanka Flow, who have gained recognition and awards. The festival has become a crucial platform for Moroccan rap groups, offering them exposure, media attention, and a chance to connect with an expanding audience.
Today, L’boulevard is regarded as a national celebration of Moroccan rap, eagerly anticipated by fans looking to celebrate the genre and discover rising talent.
