The Moroccan Rap is Being Exported to the World
2007
January 01
Moroccan rap began gaining traction internationally, particularly among the Moroccan diaspora, who started requesting local artists to perform abroad. The first rappers to take their music beyond Morocco included Fnaire, H-Kayne, and Casa Crew, performing in countries with large Moroccan populations like France, Belgium, Spain, and the Netherlands.
This expansion provided Moroccan rap with greater exposure on the global stage, offering local artists a chance to explore the international music scene, connect with new artists and producers, and eventually collaborate on international features and productions.
