The motive
I’ve been a huge rap fan since the 90s, and I’ve had the chance to watch how
the genre evolved in Morocco over the years. Seeing the culture grow and change
here has always fascinated me, and I wanted to find a way to capture that history.
I felt it was important not only for other fans like me, but also for anyone
curious about how Moroccan rap came to be what it is today.
That’s why I decided to create this website. It’s my way of documenting the journey
and progress of Moroccan rap. I hope it serves as a resource for fellow fans
and also sparks interest in anyone thinking about making a documentary like Netflix’s
Hip-Hop Evolution. rap.

volunteers who are passionate about Moroccan rap music and ensure that any
